I chose wooden wicks as I find they are much better all around then to cord! Wooden wicks omit less carbon & soot when burning, they provide a cleaner & wider burn, they last much longer, and omit the perfect faintest crackling sound. Please ensure that your candle wick is cut at 1/4 of an inch.
